St Andrew’s Church
The church was originally built in the seventeenth century (it was expanded in 1934) by Portuguese Jesuit priests. On the altar is a wooden idol of Mother Mary, which is believed to have been found floating in the sea by fishermen. On equinox days, a beam of sunlight hits the keystone of the arch above the altar exactly at 7am.
Hill Road, Bandra.
